Meet the goats of border farm

Tangle

Tangle is fun, quirky, and requires some lovin'. She loves a good day, running across the pasture and just general shenanigans. She is large, stable, and beautiful. Her kids are big, strong, and wildly colored, and an excellent mama.

She is easy to milk, and is our top milk goat each year.

Moonshine

Moonshine is the goat that gathers everyone's attention. She is large, huge horns, and striking in color. She is our most dominant goat and can be a jerk at times, but is also very sensitive and requires our attention and extra grooming time. She is our one goat that only has doelings, our 'frosted line', and we currently have two of her daughters and one of her grand daughters.

Dolly

Little Dolly is Reba's twin. She is the tiniest goat we have, super sweet, and a bit dingy. She is excellent on trails, loves to eat, and loves her sister. She will be a first time freshener.

Easy

Easy is just that. One of the first goats born on our farm and he captured all of our hearts. He was one of our first packgoats and remains solid. When our buck is in rut, Easy is his companion and they are inseparable. We love him!

Carlos

Carlos is the nicest goat. Super chill, loves to hang out with our does, walks best on lead, and if he can he avoids all conflict. He is one of our main packgoats and super solid on the trail. He is a goat you would want to grow old with, a solid buddy.

Twizzle

Twizzle is Norths daughter and Moonshines granddaughter. We bonded with her from the moment she was born and she remains our shadow. She is bold, will be big like her grandma, and fun on the trail. She is a first time freshener.

Picasso

He is handsome, and sweet from start to finish. He never stops wagging his tail he is just thrilled to be called, touched, groomed, and hoof trimmed. Such a sweet boy and a new addition to our packgoat program.

Pablo

Pablo is Picasso's twin. He is bold in the goat world but shy with humans. He loves 'his' people that take care of him daily but that is it, he knows who he wants. He hangs with our kid group and the adult goats easily. Sweet and a new addition to our packgoat program.

Reba

Reba is going to have the longest legs of the bunch when she is full grown. Reba is curious, scampy, super athletic, wants to try everything, and a blast on the trails. This is Dolly's twin. She will be a first time freshener this year.

North

North is one of our smallest milk does. She is thin and tall, yet produces an insane amount of milk and gifts of triplets each year. She is part of our 'frosted line', sweet, loves her twin and her daughter, and we are in awe of all she does for our farm.

Sunny - Our Queen

Fat Mama! She is big, bold, and has a presence. She keeps our herd in order and everyone knows their place. She was our first packgoat, and now one of our top milk goats. She gives us triplets to quads each year, and all have the 'Sunny stamp' of - bold, vigorous, and super fun. Sunny is also our goat that we use in our Goat Camp program, she is very generous with strangers and most people learn a lot from her.

Heather

Heather is a twin to North. She is our 'sweet little flower' of a goat. She for sure will stand up for herself but would prefer to be with North, and eat. She has given us the sweetest little doelings that share her temperament. She broke her leg in a conflict when she was young and has a slight limp, it doesn't seem to slow her down in play or running around.

Lefty

He is our buck, and produces some of the nicest kids we have ever had. He is so magnificent and majestic, The Commander of the Universe. He was shy and retreating when we got him, and now that we have spent a lot of time with him, he is easy to be around and kind. He adds a bit of wild to our farm, there is something very primal about him and we like it that way. Easy is his best friend.

Compass

Compass was our shadow when she was a kid, the best chores goat on the farm, we did everything together. She had a wild adolescent stage, and now a great mother, great milk goat, and super sweet. She is our 'nanny' to all of the kids, she loves hanging in the kid pen with the littles. Tangles daughter and Pablo & Picasso's mom. She also holds the title as our Bucks favorite doe.

Jezebel

The smartest and most athletic goat we have. She can open doors, there is no latch that she can't figure out, she lets herself in and out of whatever yard she is in. Jezebel knows our schedule better than we do and yells if we are late, and won't stand up for us if we are too early. She knows which cabinets have what she likes or wants, and what cabinets to stay away from. She is the lowest goat in our herd as far as pecking order, but is crafty enough to get what she wants without too much conflict. Super sweet, super kind, and she is not only a loving mother but pretty great with all of our kids.
